LIMITED PLACES PER RACE
We’re continuing with the Garmin Family Race, the fun race we successfully launched in 2025 with great participation, smiles, and teamwork. A unique experience in which parents and children compete together on an exciting obstacle relay course.
The race is designed for adults and children to work as a team and share the excitement of the sport. Each team will be made up of one adult and one child or 3 people in the U13 category (1 child + 2 adults or 2 children + 1 adult), and together they must complete a circuit adapted to the child’s age.
The age of the participants is established until December 31 of the year of the test.
1. CHILD STARTS
The child starts the race by overcoming different obstacles.
2. RELAY TO ADULT
Upon arrival at the relay zone, the child will pass the baton to their companion, who will complete their section of the circuit.
3. CROSS FINISH LINE AS A TEAM
In the last leg, the adult and child will run together to cross the finish line as a team.
The circuit will include dynamic and safe obstacles such as trunks, zigzag sections, ramps, water and balance tests, ensuring an exciting experience for everyone.
U7 (2019-2021)
DISTANCE: 600m
Short course without relays. It can be done accompanied by one or more family members. The whole team must cross the finish line holding hands.
Maximum 4 participants, minimum 1 adult. Of these 4, one must be U7 years old, the others are free age.The U7 person must lead the group.
The finish line must be crossed with the entire team holding hands.
U10 (2016-2018)
DISTANCE: 900m
Race with one lap for children, relay to the adult and final stretch together.
Two people participate. One must be under 10 years old, the other can be under 10, a child, or an adult.
U13 (2012-2015)
DISTANCE: 1200m
Race with two laps for children, relay to the adult and final stretch together.
2 or 3 family members can participate in this race. One of them must be U13 years old, and the other(s) can be either U13 or adult.
